Did you know there are 101 different ways to build an app?
OK, maybe not 101, but the right approach for you will vary greatly depending on how simple or sophisticated your idea is, how fast you want it launched, and how tech savvy you are.Â
Working out which approach IS RIGHT FOR YOU is the most important thing to get right when planning your app build.Â
You need to choose between:
Building it yourself…
If your idea is simple and you’ve got time on your hands, you can use a DIY app builder to build your app for FREE and pay as little as $100 a month to keep it live Or if you’ve got plenty of time and some technical skills, you can learn to use advanced coding tools to build a moderately sophisticated app for FREE with just a few hundred dollars for tools and courses.Â
Outsourcing it…
If your idea is more sophisticated and you don’t have a lot of time on your hands, then spending a bit more on outsourcing is the way to go. It’ll cost anywhere from a few thousand to a few hundred thousand dollars to build, depending on how complex your app is.
Recruiting your own team…Â
Employing your own app-building team is the best option if you’re an entrepreneur with external funding from investors and you’ve had experience building apps before.
In the workshop, you’ll get access to my Development Approach Framework to determine which approach is the smartest and most efficient way for you.Â
You’ll also get a copy of my APP SUPER SCOPER that I’ll help you fill out so together we can work out exactly which platforms, features and non-functional requirements must be included in the scope of your app idea.Â
This will make getting a quote so much easier because a detailed written scope removes the guesswork around your app requirements, meaning you’ll be quoted for what you ACTUALLY need, not what the developer thinks you need.Â
After we work out the best build approach for you and fill out your App Super Scoper, you’ll get an on-the-spot ballpark cost estimate DURING THE WORKSHOP followed by a detailed costing within 48 hours.
